Re: [reSIProcate] Mac OS X - XCode - does not build

Roahn,

i appreciate your answer. Seems that even if i have a Mercedes in the
garage, i have to drive the truck :)

But anyway, i guess that some of these files in the project file are from the last
century. Could you send me your xcode project file ?

Best regards,

Michael

Micheal,

Another alternative:

I generally use OS/X as well but using the "unofficial" build system:
make. (just type make)
I use Xcode as an editor and compile from the command line with make.

The files in the Xcode project file should be the same as those in the
default make files.

thanks,
-roahn

Hi Michael;

Apologies for being light on support this weekend -- I've been moving
house so I'm very busy.
The xcode files are VERY old. Most of the files your mention as
'missing' are long since deleted.
I'll see if I have some spare time Monday (perhaps evening) to look at
getting the xcode build working -- I think I'd like it too since I've
been longing to build an IM client that's all Cocoa, or integrates
with Adium and/or Fire.

Alan,

thanks to keep me posted. i hope you had an easy move and I'm happy
that you focus on reanimate the xcode project file.

A Voice-Channel is that what adium needs, but i guess it would be hard
to bring this into adium. The adium account / message relationships
seems to fixed to: account <-> controler <-> view or something like
that. I looked into the adium source sometime after checking it out
from svn for compile, but i guess i'm far from understanding the whole
thing at this time and thats another story :)

Anything i can do ?

Michael
