Re: [reSIProcate] Mac OS X - XCode - does not build
Alan,
thank you for taking the time to answer me !
Autotools is not an option for me.
I want to use XCode for development. Those of us who are familar with
XCode will agree when i say that i want to focus on development and not
on
administrating my system with the fink.
Yes, 2 days are a short time for those who enjoy the weekend and i
ruefully went back
to siprocate after figuring out that osip lacks of documentation. But,
osip compiles
w/o any warning (not to mention an error) :)
To get the XCode project file fixed i need source code files which are
not
in the siprocate main branch. There are a lot of files which are marked
red (missing)
at the files view. Some of you may giggle now, but i have no idea where
to get
these files. I checked out via svn and saw these files missing at the
xcode files view.
Anyway, i pressed the build buttin. Ares builded fine, but resiprocate
(and limp) would not.
Is the project file very old and siprocate may droped these files out
of warp ? Maybe, i
could disable all these files at files view ?
To give you a clou what files i'm talking about:
Dialog.cxx, .hxx
Dialog2.cxx, .hxx
DialogSet.cxx, .hxx
Executive.cxx, .hxx
libSipImp.cxx
Methodhash-raw.cxx
preparse.cxx, .hxx
PreparseDiagnostic.cxx
Reliabilitymessage.hxx
SendingMessage.cxx, .hxx
SipSession.cxx, .hxx
supported.hxx
TuUa.hxx
UnknowHeaderType.cxx
UnknownParameterType.cxx
Regards,
Michael

Seems that two people arent enough.
Before running out of time i will give the osip stack a try.
The stack compiles on OS/X you just have to use the autotools.
If the Xcode IDE files are a problem; feel free to take a crack at it
yourself.
I run the stack routinely on OS/X and I know many of the core
developers work on OS/X.
If you have some specific concerns that you want addressed, please let
us know. Given that we are working towards a stable tarball and
release, now isn't an excellent time for the (same) people to tackle
the xcode integration.
Seems like sometimes two days (one of which is a weekend) aren't
enough time to wait for an answer. ;-)
Let us know your OS/X issues, since we are all under the impression
the stack works fine there.
Thanks,
