[reSIProcate] Security class and root certificates

Just been looking over the newly revamped Security and BaseSecurity classes and 
I have a couple of questions.

Obviously my setRootCert (addRootCertPEM) implementation did not meet with 
universal approval (no big surprise really) but can someone suggest what needs 
to be done to fix it?  Or is someone else planning to?  We're going to need that 
facility back before we can use the new code.

Secondly, is there any particular reason why every (Base)Security object needs 
its own copy of the root certificates?  Why shouldn't they all share a common pool?
