There was also a minor change to addTlsTransport().

If addTlsTransport throws (if there are no root certs it will), the 
addTlsTransport() routine no longer catches the Exception.

One pleasant side-effect of the addTransport() changes is that you can 
now loop in your client code adding transports on a free port.
