Re: [reSIProcate-users] does resip support specify Transport to send outgoing message

Hi,
(resuming an old thread since i stumbled on this recently)
if you want to specify a specific transport you could also use
UserProfile::setFixedTransportPort that will tell dum to use a specific transport bound on that port.

HTH

P.S. if you bind UDP and TCP on the same port i don't know exactly what policies Resiprocate will use to choose the transport though

The transport selector essentially uses your OSs routing tables and the destination address in order to select the best transport to use.
