Re: [reSIProcate-users] resiprocate roadmap

Until we get a chance to create a changelog, looking at commits is the only way right now to see what's new.

resip on master is compatible with both OpenSSL 1.0.x and 1.1.x  I believe it also still works with pre 1.0 versions as well too.

Hello Daniel,
thanks for your reply
i was talking about branch release/1.11 that seems to be the same of tag resiprocate-1,11beta5
i was thinking that it was some sort of "official" 1.11 and was asking about the lack of news on the website or changelog, not that it should be published today :)

As for the upcoming 1.12 (great news!) besides looking at various commits is there a way to find out the main changes?

P.S. i see that openssl 1.1 is now officially supported, does anyone know if there's a way to keep working with 1.0.2? or the new release will be 1.1.x only?

A lot of things changed after I made the 1.11.0 beta5 tag.

If I make a 1.11.0 beta6 tag now, it will be something very different,
some people might be surprised.

Bumping the version number gives people a strong hint that a lot of
things have changed.

A full 1.12.0 release could come within a few weeks if the beta is
satisfactory.

Daniel
