Is the problem mentioned in 
https://list.resiprocate.org/archive/resiprocate-devel/msg06789.html resolved 
somehow, or is there a known workaround?
There is no reply to that message ...

I have encountered the exact same problem when calling from a Skype conference 
(which I suspect is what the OP also did) and need to address it somehow.

If it has been fixed in later versions it would be a great argument for 
upgrading (which is long overdue anyway - we are still using 1.6).
