Hi Daniel,

only partially related:
Any schedule for a new release like 1.10?
My work a few weeks ago about cross distro packaging and stuff went into
git and I'd like prepare "stable" packages out of it but currently they
are git snapshots which are hard to submit to a stable Linux release
(like openSUSE next in my case).
