[reSIProcate-users] into the Linux desktop / Telepathy API
Now that we have packages on some of the major Linux distributions, the
next step for reSIProcate into the Linux world may be integration with
the Telepathy API.
In practice, this is not a huge task, but it makes reSIProcate available
to various applications like Empathy and it may even mean that the
reSIProcate packages will be installed by default on Linux desktops, in
preference to the Sofia-SIP solution they currently install.
I've started a wiki and bug report for it:
https://www.resiprocate.org/Telepathy_Connection_Manager
https://www.resiprocate.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=92
and also a discussion on the Telepathy mailing list:
http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/telepathy/2015-August/006699.html
Any feedback about this would be really welcome, either through the bug
report or this thread on the mailing list.
