So, reSIProcate isn't a vendor or a company. It's nothing but a user 
community. Aeons ago, the reSIProcate effort sort of loosely evolved out 
of a company called "Vovida," but they're no longer around.

What we *do* have is several people who work on the project part-time as 
part of their efforts at various companies -- companies that use 
reSIProcate as part of their own commercial offerings. There's sort of a 
second-tier group of users who make suggestions and submit patches.

I'm certain you and your team would be welcome in any capacity that you 
would like to participate, if you're interested in doing so.

I was going to post more specific answers to your questions, but I see 
that Scott has beaten me to it while I was composing this response. :)
