I’ll assume you are talking about DialogUsageManager::makeSubscription… The To: header comes from the target and the From: header comes
from the UserProfile default From setting. You can always edit the message you
get back before calling send. The wiki has very detailed documentation on setting/accessing

inside the subscribe request message, can I use sipstack::makeSubscribe? It
seems to put the default somewhere else. 2. By the way, if I need to parse the header information
inside a response message what method is there to get that header
information(in order to get From, To, callID, transactoion Id , etc
