RE: [reSIProcate] How to put the objtive files and libaries based oncomputer architecture?

Hmm, interesting - I did not realize this was a tarbal build. I don't know how to solve it. I guess the tarballs were only made with autotools - if you grab a version out of SVN, I suspect it will work.

Hi Cullen,

How do I turn off autotool from configure file?
I  untar the package, and run make without running configure,  the libtool is used already.

I am sure that Makefiles from resiprocate package were generated with autotool.

configure.ac uses  atuoconf, automake, and libtool,  and  could you tell me the procedures to generate Makefiles without autotool?

Where is the default makefile without autools?

Thanx a lot!

Frank

If you don't use the autotools but instead use the default make, it does
this by default

libaries based oncomputer architecture?

Hi ,

I try to build the latest resiprocate stack at the same disk
mounted by
Sparc Solaris 8 and Red Hat Linux 9.0, but all the object
files are in
source dir, not in objective directory and I cannot tell if
the object
files are generated by Sparc or Linux?

Could any one tell me how to put the objective files and libraries to
the computer architecture related dir during compiling and library
creating by making changes of configure file?

Thanx in advance!

Frank
