I will look into adding Digest authentication. It doesn't look to difficult
if the digest algorithm is already in Helper.

Since you must always be delivered a NOTIFY in addition to the 2xx to
the SUBSCRIBE there is no good reason to deliver an event to the
application on receipt of the 2xx - this is needed only to quench
retransmissions of the SUBSCRIBE transaction.

I don't think anybody has implemented this although it will not be too
much work to add it in. Most of the code is already in Helper.cxx to do
the digest part. Do you have some time to try and add this in?
