[reSIProcate] Heads up on resiprocate

	If you are on windows, XP and beyond have an RTP library / service built in. I am not familiar with it myself though. 

 
This is not a pure RTP library. It is part of the RTC client API, which is Microsoft's SIP implementation. It can't be used standalone and it's very limited. (e.g. you can only terminate/source media on the system's default audio devices like mic and speakers and it doesn't support many codecs)
The actual DirectShow RTP filters that come with this implementation have a private type library, so there is no chance to use them directly.
 
Someone from MS told me last year that they are planning to separate the SIP and RTP stack for future versions but I'm not sure about the current status.
