	Brian,

we are currently doing no echo cancellation (because it is
a server application). On WinXP there is an AEC filter but
I'm not sure if it is available for public use, but it's in
dsdmo.dll.
	Best regards,

	Matthias Moetje

How are you doing echo cancellation? I looked at
DirectShow (which I don't have any experience with) and I couldn't
determine that there's an echo canceller filter. Did you build that,
too?

		Thanks Matthias.

I am using DirectShow (Windows only, of course)
with custom built filters.
			Best regards,

What are people using for a media layer
in applications that they're building? I'm aware of the GIPS stuff, and
have been looking at sipXmediaLib. Are there others I should be
considering?

				Thanks
