[reSIProcate] resiprocate or sipxtapi

i am concerned with security in SIP and i got 2 qns here

1)would it be fair to say that development using resiprocate
would be better in this case?

2)is this project purely for signaling without media being used?

3)is there an understandable api for programming user agents
available?
