Bonjour Julien;

It is just a slightly older convention for naming C++ files and headers.
Think of the 'x' as a rotated '+'.  A large part of the reSIProcate 
early/core developers worked for many years on projects that used this 
coding style and it stuck / migrated into reSIProcate.
