[reSIProcate] resiprocate build problem on solaris

Please describe how you are building. Are you just running 'make'?

Some output from this would be quite helpful in debugging.

The 'transitional' build system using the autotools was working with 
Solaris a few months ago, not sure when the 'legacy / current' build 
system worked with Solaris last.
