Ok this worked like a charm :).

However, I still have one question... is there a way to set the transport so it avoids rejecting TLS connection if the received server certificate is not trusted?

I have found that calling this might do: SSL_set_verify_depth(ctx, 0), but I can't find this call anywhere on resiprocate code... does this mean we will always reject not trusted certificates?
