Re: [reSIProcate-users] resiprocate problems with many connections

What platform are you using?  The stack itself has been tested on linux based OS's with more than 10,000 connections and can process many thousands of transactions per second.

Here's an old posting with some performance results:

Hello,

I try some experiments with reciprocate to determine the maximum number of connections to a server. Therefore I write a little test app which tries to open connections hold them a while and close them, but unfortunately I’m not able to open more than approx.. 110 connections. Does anybody see this sometimes? On the other hand, if I open more than 80 connections it seems that the process method is not fast enough and reciprocate resends INVITE messages multiple times for some connections. This seems for me also a performance issue but I’m not sure about this.

Can anybody confirm this or do you have experiences with much more connections?

Thanks,

Paul
