The console log output should give you a good idea of what is going on.  Perhaps the SIP server is rejecting your registration.  If the server requires authentication then you need to add a password parameter when launching basicRegister:
basicRegister sip:tomy@127.0.0.1:5060 password

Feel free to post the log output here if you are having trouble deciphering it.
