There are two other mechanisms you can consider:  http://www.resiprocate.org/Modifying/Decorating_messages_sent

I would recommend looking at OutboundDecorators.

Application’s AppDialogset has data which has to be added as extension headers. Data which has to be added as extension header varies from one SIP REFER to other.
