[reSIProcate-users] ichat-gw video support

I've managed to get ichat-gw up and running, and I'm able to make audio calls.
Unfortunately, what I really need is video support.
My currently employer is a Video Relay Service (VRS) provider for the
deaf and hard of hearing. As such, I would like to deploy an iChat
gateway for that community to be able to make both VRS and
point-to-point video calls to other deaf videophones.
The goal here is to benefit the deaf community, not just our customers.
We currently lean heavily on gnugk and opensips to do much of the
heavy lifting on our platform.
We currently have _many_ thousands of videophones deployed, primary of
4 different phone types at present: Tandberg T150, Creative InPerson,
Worldgate Ojo, and Mirial soft client. Experience with SIP and H.323
isn't an issue.
We don't expect this help to be free, though we _do_ contribute any
sourcecode improvements back to the community if we do end up paying
for assistance to get there. A good case in point would be recent
additions to gnugk: Jan would probably give us a great referral there
;)
Looking at the ichat-gw source, it seems to be relatively simple to
add video media negotiation support and some SDP video codecs to what
is offered during the exchange.
I can help get video working, if someone is interested in working with
us to get ichat-gw to the level we need.
