The classes that will be of most interest to you are under resip/dum.
You'll want to particularly understand ClientPagerMessage,
ServerPagerMessage, and DialogUsageManager. The test program
resip/dum/test/basicMessage.cxx should give you a good idea of the steps
you'll want to take to send and receive instant messages.
