Re: [reSIProcate-users] [reSIProcate] resiprocate-1.2 final release

Hrm. Those asserts really do need to be there though. Try tossing an #include <assert.h> in the header file, and see if that fixes things.

great work,

however building resiprocate 1.2 on Debian etch gives:

../../build/../resip/dum/Handle.hxx: In member function ‘bool resip::Handle<T>::operator<(const resip::Handle<T>&) const’: ../../build/../resip/dum/Handle.hxx:97: error: there are no arguments to ‘assert’ that depend on a template parameter, so a declaration of ‘assert’ must be available ../../build/../resip/dum/Handle.hxx:97: error: (if you use ‘- fpermissive’, G++ will accept your code, but allowing the use of an undeclared name is deprecated)
../../build/../rutil/Data.hxx: At global scope:
../../build/../rutil/Data.hxx:741: warning: ‘resip::invokeDataInit’ defined but not used ../../build/../resip/stack/SdpContents.hxx:531: warning: ‘resip::invokeSdpContentsInit’ defined but not used
make[1]: *** [obj.debug.Linux.i686/AppDialog.o] Error 1
make: *** [dum] Error 2

It seems that this bug has been fixed in resiprocate main, but IMHO this should also be fixed on the 1.2 branch. A released version should compile
out of the box on major OSes..
