Re: [reSIProcate] DumThread does not catch standard exception

Hi Volodymyr,

Thanks.  Under what scenario does a std::exception get thrown?  I was under the impression that only a bug would cause this.

Hi,

As I see DumThread::thread does not catch exceptions except BaseException, but some times std::exception could be risen in the DUM handlers especially when some std stuff is used in the application.

Of course Dum.internalProcess could handle it, but I think any thread function/method in C++ should catch all standard exception...

The patch in the attachment...

Regards,
Volodymyr!
