[reSIProcate] Errors Compiling Resiprocate

Hi there,
I am having problems compling resiprocate-0.9.0-5019 on fedora 5 with
2.6.17-1.2145_FC5 kernel.
The error i am recieving are as follows:

-g -O2 -Wall -Wno-deprecated -MT Id.lo -MD -MP -MF .deps/Id.Tpo -c os/Id.cxx
-fPIC -DPIC -o .libs/Id.o
os/Id.cxx: In member function 'void resip::Id<D>::operator=(const
resip::Id<D>&)':
os/Id.cxx:49: error: there are no arguments to 'assert' that depend on a
template parameter, so a declaration of 'assert' must be available
os/Id.cxx:49: error: (if you use '-fpermissive', G++ will accept your code, but
allowing the use of an undeclared name is deprecated)

make[1]: *** [all] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/resiprocate-0.9.0-5019/resiprocate'
make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1

i have also tried to install the repro rpm (may be it comes shipped with
resiprocate) and i get

error: Failed dependencies:
        libcrypto.so.5 is needed by repro-0.2-006030.i386
        libssl.so.5 is needed by repro-0.2-006030.i386

I have tried to yum install openssl and openssl-devel (both responsible for
libcryto.so) but it says my system is up-to-date (I installed sipx earlier)

Please can anyone help me with this?

Thanks and Regards,
