In my experience, the load on the event server to SUBSCRIBE traffic
far exceeds the load on the registrar.
In cases where the clients are behind NATs, persisting the database of
registrations only works if you are using UDP for the transport or if
there is a separate edge proxy which is managing the outbound
connection from the UAC.
