Re: [reSIProcate] Instant Message "Session Model" in DUM
Hi Kaiduan!
Do you have a description about the microsoft session model?
Shouldn't the RTC API fall back to page model if the callee answers with
"Not Acceptable here"?

Klaus,
Windows RTC 1.2 is using session model. But there is
one minor problem, if you initiate a session model IM
without intention to make a voice call to the other
party, some hardware SIP phones will ring, and when
the called picks up the phone, there is no "voice",
this is annoying.

Hi!
Does DUM supports the instant message "session
model" as used by
Windows Messenger? If not - is it planned?
I went throught the code (ClientPagerMessage) and
to me this looks
like the "page model".
We intend to implement session mode IM using MSRP.
Sometime in the next
couple of months.
Do you know which version is used by the Microsoft
RTC API? Is there
somewhere a RFC/draft for the RTC method?
regards,
klaus
