Hi Andrea,

A fine set of questions. There is some effort required to design the new interfaces and deal with the smart pointer issues. The remainder is more or less just shuffling around existing code. Very little of the DUM core should be touched, so might go pretty quickly.

My hope is that we can have something testable at the end of the next design meeting.

This sounds very interesting... I'm rewriting a client based on resiprocate stack and porting it to DUM. I think also that more docs and samples will help!
thanks

Andrea

There will definitely be a big change in interface. Presumably, we will arrange to maintain the old interface for some time and also produce some porting recommendations.

Feel free to post this thread to the list.

thanks,
david

Hi all,

I've a question on this mail... it sounds very interesting but I've a question by "resiprocate user point of view"! I'm spending my time studying dum interface but if I understand well, you're planning to modify it a lot!
when do you think it will be ready to test (and to use)?
thanks
