Ah, yes. I should probably remember the stuff that I write. Did you see any evidence that it tried to form a TCP connection with the IP, and failed? I can give the logs a look and see if they uncover anything.

I will check the logs for that, but my understanding was the non-responsive IPs would get greylisted and therefore be used only if there is nothing else (which should be the case when routing to an IP) and things got black-listed only if a 503 with a retry-after header came in.

            My guess would be that the IP address got blacklisted because it was non-responsive.

Hi,
Why would repro return a 503 with “Warning: 499 servername "No other DNS entries to try"” header when attempting to route an INVITE to an IP address (the INVITE comes in with a route containing an IP)?
